In early November 2024 I was also praying for an upcoming conference that I would be speaking at a few days after the presidential election. I felt the Holy Spirit tell me to get a sheriff’s badge to take with me to wear. I like when the spirit speaks these things, they become almost like a treasure hunt for information as you follow his lead for understanding to fill in the blanks of what he might have in mind and hasn’t told you yet. I spent a few days making phone calls and eventually found that I could buy a bag of sheriff badges at a store in town that has all kinds of oddities and surprises. These were sheriff badges that were intended to be used at a party or some sort of gathering but they fit my need.

As I traveled to the city hosting the conference I was asking the Lord what the sheriff badges were for? He simply said to me “there’s a new sheriff in town, and he’s gonna need deputies to carry out his plans.” Seemingly as confirmation just as I pulled into the city limits of my destination on the radio came the Bob Dylan song “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.” The song begins “Mama take this badge off of me I can’t wear it anymore … I feel like I’m knocking on heavens door.” I was beginning to get a message.

I gave badges to the key leaders at the conference and shared publicly as a prophetic word that we had experienced a sea-change with the election and with the arrival of Donald Trump there would be a new sheriff in town and God was deputizing those who would “knock on heaven’s door, to see that His plans are implemented.”

In the old Westerns a new sheriff showed up to bring law and order where criminals had been running the town, the new sheriff lay down the law told the bad guys to get out of Dodge or he would call them out at high noon for showdown. I felt that the Lord was saying Trump was going to lay down the law to those who had been running roughshod over the townsfolk of this nation and he wasn’t going to stand for it anymore. I really felt on, a serious note that we are entering into a time of reformation, of real structural change to our society and tearing down things that shouldn’t have been built, and rebuilding on the strong foundations that our Republic was originally built upon. I felt like the Lord was saying that we can be deputized to “knock on heavens door” to help bring law and order to our nation and help in the transformation and the reformation that were entering into. We have an opportunity to join with him as he answers our many prayers for the salvation of our nation.

It wasn’t too long after I returned home that I saw an interview with one of President Trump’s Senior advisors who made the comment “there’s a new sheriff in town.” I laughed excitedly hearing him say exactly what the Holy Spirit had said me. Now since the inauguration, I’ve heard it so many times from so many people that it’s almost becoming a byword, most recently Vice President Vance told European leaders at the Munich Security Conference “There’s A New Sheriff In Town.”

Rather than telling the bad guys to get out of Dodge, DOGE is telling the bad guys to get out, and leave the money behind. Just the other day I heard the president give Hamas until high noon to release the remainder of the hostages they are holding, in a warning reminiscent of Marshal Wyatt Earp from the movie of the same name “or all hell is going to break loose.” It’s worthy of note that the department of justice files of Arizona stated that the Earp brothers were “trusted and tried, and strike fear into the hearts of these outlaws.” I can see that Trump and his present band of “deputies” are having the same effect on much of the criminal bureaucracy and deep state having infiltrated and plagued our Republic.

Proverbs 21:15 When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers. But that’s only part of the story, it’s much bigger than just having a new sheriff in town. ESV

Looking back to see ahead.

Back in the Spring of the year 2020 I had a dream that I felt was speaking about the presidential election. In the dream I heard a heavenly voice say clearly “1984 or 1984.”

As I considered the meaning of “1984 or 1984” I felt it could mean either and election like the 1984 presidential election or a dystopian prophecy of a time like that described in George Orwell’s book by the title “1984.” In 1984 Reagan won reelection decisively as he ran against a Democrat former Vice President with a woman running mate for the first time in history. Comparing that to the 2020 election, President Trump also ran against a former Vice President Democrat with a woman as a running mate for only the second time in history. You can read that article here (https://flintnet.org/1984-two-possible-scenarios). Ronald Reagan won his 1984 election decisively winning 49 out of 50 states. Likewise, according to the CIA web site that tracks elections, President Trump also won the 2020 election winning 49 out of 50 states at midnight on Election night. (Note: 1997 Supreme Court’s 9-0 decision in Foster vs. Love, which ruled that Election Day means Election Day and only ballots received by midnight on election day may legally be counted.)

However, we all know that it did not end there, but many irregularities and suspicious events began to happen that continued to play out over the coming days, weeks and even months, leading to not only a loss for the President, but the beginning of a very dystopian period of four years, which we are only now beginning to see the relief from.

Only days before the 2024 Presidential election I watched Elon Musk on the Joe Rogan podcast speak of his hat which had written on its crown “Make Orwell Fiction Again.” referring to the dystopian world that the then current administration had created. He express the viewpoint held by many that if President Trump did not win the 2024 election decisively that elections would cease to matter in the future as one party would dominate and control all elections through illegal means in the future.

Almost immediately after being sworn in in after the 2020 election the party in power began many dubious, unconstitutional and illegal enterprises beginning by opening the border to millions of illegal aliens and using public funds to support and sustain the illegal activities. This was all done with the ultimate plan to change the future election demographics to keep the party in power in perpetuity.

The administration organized citizens of other nations to “surge to the border” offering sanctuary status, “free” health care, “free” cell phones, “free” housing, and in many cases “free” college. None of these things were offered to American citizens, and none of these things openly advertised to American or approved through legal means in Congress. The vast majority of these illegals were sent (at public expense) to liberal cities and regions. This was done in a direct attempt to influence the apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives and the number of electoral votes given to each state which is based upon the number of people (not only citizens) counted in the U.S. Census, which determines both the apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives and the number of electoral votes given to each state.

Beyond that, in Orwellian fashion, the government contrived many dystopian schemes to delegitimize their opponents ranging from colluding with media and news outlets to influence and subvert freedom of the press, to subjecting their opponents, which were generally conservatives and Christians, to what has become known as “lawfare” or using the law, or manipulating the law to punish otherwise innocent groups or individuals that were seen as a threat to the narrative the regime was promoting. This included sending the FBI after parents in School Board Meetings to arresting a prosecuting peaceful pro-life protesters. And not only arresting and prosecuting, but using punishments clearly meant by Congress to be used against terrorists. This all occurring while real terrorists were being brought into the country at the public expense, and even transferring of billions of dollars of military equipment to one of the major terrorist governments on earth. The regime coordinated attacks at state and federal levels to try and demonize, impoverish, imprison and went so far to bring numerous charges against the former president to try and disqualify him from running for office again. The insane ludicrousness of the period of time saw law enforcement go to the extreme of sending a SWAT team to confiscate and euthanize a pet squirrel to literal presidential kill approval (if the former president resisted) for the FBI as they raided former president Trump’s private home and went so far as to go through the former (and now current) first ladies panty drawers.

I could go on an on, but I’m only trying to paint a picture of just how extremely “Orwellian” or “1984” the regime had taken things since the election in 2020.

Return of the King

There is a story in the bible of a rightful king who had his kingdom illegitimately taken from him for a time, but after a time he was able to take back his rightful seat of authority. Recorded in 2 Samuel 15-17

When Absalom, King David’s son usurped the throne king David was in exile for a time, and was in serious danger during this time. However, the Lord used this time to show King David who was against him in his own court, something that David needed to know in order to clean out the threats from his kingdom after he regained his throne. He learned from his time in exile, who he could trust and who could not be trusted. Likewise President Trump had a time of “exile” that he rightly should not have had to experience, but during this time he learned much about those who worked against him in his first administration and this greatly influenced his choices in whom he has chosen to work with him in his second administration. He learned the seriousness of having the right people with him in his cabinet and how much deeper the “deep state” had influence. In his second administration not only has he chosen outsiders from the political “swamp,” but has in many cases chosen those, who like himself, have been abused and persecuted (and prosecuted) by the bureaucracy that he has currently put each one over to reform and correct.

There was another king recorded in scripture that experienced a period of exile but of a very different kind. The great king Nebuchandezzer. The Lord decreed that King Nebuchandezzer would spend seven years in a spiritual exile, living with the animals in the wild until he “acknowledged that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.” At the end of the seven years Nebuchandezzer “praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.” Daniel 4:24.

In a similar fashion, President Trump was in a form of exile and near the end of it he too had an experience and came up from it glorifying God, and telling the world that God is sovereign. It wasn’t the OK corral, and it wasn’t the wilderness of Babylon or En Gedi, but when the president got up from the floor of the stage in a field in Butler, Pennsylvania after being shot by an attempted assassin’s bullet, he was a different man. By his own account “it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness.” In his second inauguration speech he added “I felt then, and I believe even more so now, that my life was saved by God to make America great again, … I will not forget our country, we will not forget our Constitution and we will not forget our God.” It took Nebuchandezzer seven years to come back and glorify God, it took president Trump less than four.

President Trump seems to have even more energy and a renewed conviction and vision to accomplish the task before him. Caleb was only two years older than the president currently is when he said he was ready to “Take the mountain.”

Joshua 14:11 As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in.
12 Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the LORD spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim [giants] were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the LORD will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the LORD said.”

Promises made, promises kept

This has become a motto for the present administration, as it was in his first term in office. However, this time the president is reaching back to promises made by Ronald Reagan that have been unfulfilled until now.

Ronald Reagan defeated one term president Jimmy Carter to become president. Jimmy Cater has the distinction of being the longest living former president in history, and for most of his life he was known by many as “the worst president in US history.” That was until President Trump was sworn in as president after one term president Joe Biden, currently being labeled by a majority of Americans as “the worst president in US history.”

During his single term as president, Jimmy Carter created the unconstitutional Department of Education to purportedly, bring equality to the education system in America. He created the Department of Energy with the purpose of getting the USA off of reliance on mid-eastern oil. He paid Panama to take control of the US Panama Canal and in an extreme act of betrayal he forced the replacement of US ally the Republic of China (Taiwan) with Communist China as one of the five permeant members of the UN Security Council. This council was created from the WW2 allies if the USA – Communist China has never been, and is not currently an ally of the USA.

Ronald Reagan promised to change some of these things, especially to abolish the Department of Education, which was less than four years old when he became president, but was more expansive at the end of his presidency. Donald Trump has promised to end the Department of Education and return the supervision of education to the states. When the Department of Education was created US students ranked in the top of the world, but now rate 40th in the world despite spending more money per student than any other nation.

Since the creation of the Department of Energy, the only time the US was free from dependence upon middle eastern oil was under the policies put in place by the first Trump administration until they were ended immediately by the incoming Biden administration, President Trump has promised to make the US an exporter of energy again. Likewise, President Trump has already promised the exercise the legitimate authority of the USA over the Panama Canal. It should be remembered that Panama was once a province of Colombia and in return for US support of Panamanian independence the USA was grated sovereignty over the canal zone, and then America accomplished what no other nation could by completing the canal and joining two oceans. It is yet to be seen what President Trump will do concerning the betrayal of the Republic of China, but we can rest assured that he will protect Taiwan and American allies in South East Asian and the Pacific.

Justice is coming

First Lady Melania Trump has a way of communicating messages though the clothing which she wears. At President Trump’s second inauguration she stood out for the navy colored silk suit with her hat, which could have come from the movie Vendetta or the US Navy of the early 20th century. She came to slay the evil doer, and this was the beginning. Her brim was pulled to shadow her eyes, not unlike a gun slinger in the old westerns, she could see her enemies, but they could not see her eyes. It wasn’t a western outfit, but it was American made and designed certainly meant to send a message, “justice is coming and there may be hell to pay! There is a new Sheriff in town!”

We are witnessing the beginning of a reformation. It will not be smooth, but it may be deep and extensive. It will transform not only the power structures of America, but the world. In his second inaugural speech the president said “Our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous and free. America will soon be greater, stronger and far more exceptional than ever before. I return to the presidency, confident and optimistic that we are at the start of a thrilling new era of national success. A tide of change is sweeping the country. Sunlight is pouring over the entire world, and America has the chance to seize this opportunity like never before. But first, we must be honest about the challenges we face. While they are plentiful, they will be annihilated by this great momentum that the world is now witnessing in the United States of America. … Our liberties and our nation’s glorious destiny will no longer be denied, and we will immediately restore the integrity, competency and loyalty of America’s government. Over the past eight years, I have been tested and challenged more than any president in our 250-year history, and I’ve learned a lot along the way. The journey to reclaim our republic has not been an easy one, that I can tell you. Those who wish to stop our cause have tried to take my freedom and indeed to take my life just a few months ago. In a beautiful Pennsylvania field, an assassin’s bullet ripped through my ear, but I felt then and believe, even more so now, that my life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again. … together, we stand on the verge of the four greatest years in American history. With your help, we will restore American promise, and we will rebuild the nation that we love, and we love it so much. We are one people, one family and one glorious nation under God.”

We have an opportunity for a new birth of freedom and liberty. We are looking at the possibility of four golden years – or forty golden years! Whether it is four years or forty depends not upon the government but upon the Church. There is a new sheriff in town, and a new order, the Lord is looking for those disciples whom he can deputize to fight for the new order of liberty in our land. Where you and I do our part where we are sent to bring righteousness back to our land and see that justice prevails. This is our opportunity, were being offered four golden years, or forty golden years. Are you up for the challenge? Put on your badge and get ready to ride.
