444, 222, 308
The Lord often speaks to me in various ways which have implications beyond the actual words. Some years ago I learned that when He communicates to me through numbers which also happen to be the calibers for firearms, He is communicating about a door – which is an opportunity or a direction. It started what a prophet walked up to me one time & said the Lord had given me a “big gun” which was 3-0-8 (a caliber) Rev 3:08 which reads “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it …” and thus began an exciting prophetic journey with the Holy Spirit (which continues to this day).

Some time after this the Lord awakened me from a deep sleep by an audible knock on my bedroom door. I immediately thought of Rev 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me”.

The knock came at 4:44 and I found that the fourth number in the Hebrew alphabet, the Daleth, is represented by a door. 444 is the number for the open door. This was a door to intimacy (bed room) and while some think the door should never be closed to the Lord, even the bridegroom announces himself before entering into the place of intimacy (Song 5:05). I began to seek the Lord for more information on what He wanted at the table when He came to dine – what would keep Him present once entering? Once I saw that the fourth letter is symbolically a door I began to expect more doors in answer to my question. So in my mind the Lord was confirming other doors to come.

I was awakened at 2:22. I got up and prayed and The Lord spoke 1 Sam 22:2 into my spirit. This was one of the foundational scriptures for our equipping ministry concerning David meeting all who were in distress, discontented, etc, and training them up into an army as they made him their captain at the cave of Adullam. Since this was both a “big gun”, as well as half of 444 I felt it was the next door He was revealing how to build a habitation which He would remain in when He came to dine.

A few months later I went to lunch with Rick Joyner on a Sunday after church. We went to a restaurant, and by God’s design ran into Bob Jones the prophet, and three others who were also out for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was so busy and there was such a line waiting that we turned to leave, but God had told Bob that there were two more coming so he had saved two seats. As we took our seats Bob began to speak about a number of things. He said God was about to “bring forth something new which would be the birthing of a door which would be a 222 door.” When he said this I stopped him and asked what the 222 door was and he said It was the door in Eph 2:22 – “In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” I stopped him and said “there’s no door in that verse”. He looked at me quizzically, as if I couldn’t see what was obvious, and said “How you gonna have a habitation without a door?” I was chastened (and blessed) by this. I felt this was my second 222, door (adding up to 444), and it was the answer to our prayer of becoming a habitation, not just a place of visitation. This was very exciting. He was saying that there was a door of opportunity to equip the saints into a army of God, helping anyone with a heart to be trained and equipped into a habitation of God!

Sometime later I was with Bob Jones again and was able to share with him how the Lord woke me up with the knock on my door at 4:44, and how his 2:22 word had blessed me. He began to speak – “I bet you think the knock on the door was Rev 3:20 – behold I stand at the door and knock, don’t ya!” (Of course I did), “But before you can get to Rev 3:20 you have to go through Rev 3:19, which says He chastens whom he loves before He comes to them”. So he said that I undoubtably had been in that type of period since He had knocked on my door. He then gave me another 222 – which was Rev 22:2 which is a promise of fruit every month! That afternoon Bob began to prophecy that the Lord was going to begin giving many people 444’s. It appears that this is happening and perhaps this testimony will help to bring encouragement to others who are receiving this word from the Lord.
